The Davey M2679 is the genuine replacement cell cable (cell cord) for the full range of Davey ProMatic / EcoMatic ESC and ESCpH salt water chlorinators. It is the three-wire electrical cable that connects the control power box to the electrolytic cell, carrying the DC current needed for chlorine production. This part is typically replaced when the cord becomes brittle, develops a break in the insulation, or suffers lead failure that causes the system to stop generating chlorine.

This cell cable fits all Davey ProMatic and EcoMatic ESC and ESCpH series salt chlorinators, including the ESC 16, ESC 24, ESC 36, and ESC 48 models, as well as all ESCpH variants with integrated pH control. It is the single cable part number covering the entire ESC and ESCpH family — always verify your model designation before ordering if you are unsure.

As an original Davey spare part, the M2679 cell cable is manufactured to the exact electrical and mechanical specifications of the factory-fitted cord, ensuring correct current delivery to the cell and preserving the integrity of your chlorinator system. Aftermarket cables may not meet the correct conductor ratings or connector tolerances, risking under-performance or damage to the cell itself.

Installation involves disconnecting the existing cable at the control unit and at the cell head, then fitting the replacement cord. The cord measures approximately 1.8–2.0 m in length. All electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician; always isolate the unit from the mains power supply before beginning any work.
