This is the genuine Davey replacement printed circuit board (PCB) assembly for the EcoSalt 2 salt pool chlorination system in the 25 g/h standard-salt class. It is the central control board housed inside the power supply unit, responsible for regulating chlorine output, managing cell polarity reversal, and driving the alarm and display system. Replace it when the controller shows erratic behaviour, fails to power on, displays persistent faults, or has been damaged by chemical vapour or moisture ingress.

This PCB assembly (part number 33005C-25ESP) fits the Davey EcoSalt 2 models DES2-25E and DES2-25US — the standard-salt 25 g/h variants. It is not compatible with the low-salt EL variants (DES2-25EL / DES2-25USL), which require part 33005C-25ELSP, nor with the 15 g/h or 35 g/h model families. Always cross-reference your model number label on the power supply before ordering.

The PCB assembly is the electronic brain of the EcoSalt 2 power supply. It controls the percentage chlorine output set by the user, automatically alternates the electrolytic cell polarity over chlorination cycles to extend cell life, and drives the LED status indicators and alarm system that signal normal operation or conditions requiring attention. Failure of this board — often caused by proximity to acid or chemical vapours — will prevent the unit from generating chlorine or displaying accurate status information.

PCB replacement is a technical repair involving live mains connections inside the power supply enclosure. In line with Davey guidelines, all internal electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or authorised pool technician. Ensure the unit is fully isolated from mains power before opening the enclosure, and keep the replacement board away from moisture and chemical storage areas after installation.
