The VDL type EIL ball valve in PVC-U is a robust, full-bore shut-off valve designed for pressure pipework in swimming pool plant rooms, irrigation systems, and greenhouse water distribution networks. Built to DN25 (32 mm glue socket), it accepts standard PVC-U pipe with an outer diameter of 32 mm on both ends, allowing a permanent solvent-cemented installation that eliminates threaded joint leakage paths. The grey PVC-U body resists chlorinated water, fertiliser solutions, and mild chemicals across a service temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C at a maximum working pressure of 16 bar.
The single-union design — identifiable by the threaded union nut on the downstream side — allows the valve body to be removed from the pipeline for inspection or replacement without disturbing the glued pipe ends. The oversized red PVC-U lever provides positive quarter-turn (90°) open/close actuation with clear visual indication of valve position. EPDM seals ensure compatibility with chlorinated pool water and resist UV degradation in outdoor installations. The compact face-to-face length (Lb) of 102 mm keeps installation space to a minimum in tight pump-room layouts.

Compatibilità
This valve is compatible with standard PVC-U pressure pipe with an outer diameter of 32 mm (DN25) conforming to EN ISO 1452 and DIN 8062. It is suitable for use with solvent cement adhesives formulated for PVC-U pressure systems. The EPDM seals are compatible with potable water, chlorinated pool water, and common irrigation fertiliser solutions within the stated temperature and pressure limits.
