This horizontal Woltman-type bulk water meter is engineered for high-flow measurement in municipal supply networks, large irrigation systems, pool plant rooms, and industrial water distribution. The turbine-style helical rotor spins in direct proportion to volumetric flow, delivering accurate, low-pressure-drop readings across a wide flow range from well below the nominal up to a peak of 80 m³/h. The blue epoxy-coated cast iron body withstands outdoor and buried-service conditions, while the sealed, tamper-evident register dome protects the totaliser dial from moisture and interference.
Flanged connections drilled to DIN standard make installation straightforward between existing flanged pipework: no special adapters are required for DN80 (3-inch equivalent) cast iron or ductile iron mains. The nylon-reinforced rubber internals resist the mechanical stress of sustained high-velocity flow, and the 16 bar maximum working pressure rating gives ample safety margin for boosted supply systems. The operating temperature window of 0 °C to 40 °C covers cold-water service throughout the year in temperate climates.
