Profec Type 201 Brass Gate Valve DN20 – 3/4″ Female Thread, 16 bar
The Profec Type 201 is a full-bore brass gate valve designed for reliable on/off flow control in water supply, pool plant rooms, irrigation networks, and greenhouse piping systems. Built to a nominal diameter of DN20 with 3/4″ female BSP threads on both ends, it screws directly onto standard male-threaded pipe fittings, pumps, and manifold ports without adapters. The cast brass body withstands working pressures up to 16 bar and temperatures from -20 °C to 110 °C, making it equally at home in cold-water mains and low-pressure hot-water circuits.
The rising-stem design uses a PTFE-packed gland seal around the brass spindle, providing a leak-free shut-off that can be re-tightened on site without removing the valve from the line. The cast-aluminium handwheel finished in red gives clear visual status at a glance and supplies ample torque for tight shut-off even after long service intervals. With a face-to-face body length (Lb) of 79.7 mm and an overall height (Ct-1) of 57.5 mm to the bonnet flange, the valve fits neatly into compact pipe runs where space is limited.
