How to install it

Seat the new O-ring squarely in the groove on the pump port face, push the new sleeve into the pipe socket, align it with the port, and hand-thread the nut until finger-tight, then give it one further quarter-turn — no tools needed beyond that. Restart the pump and verify no weep at the joint face after one minute of operation.
