Rated for pools up to 150 m³ and drawing just 23 W, the Hayward Control Station is a comprehensive dosing and automation hub that continuously measures pH, ORP, and temperature, then automatically adjusts chemical dosing to keep water in balance. Running on 230 VAC and housed in a weatherproof ABS/stainless steel enclosure rated to IPX4, it is built for permanent outdoor installation in European pool plant rooms. A built-in Wi-Fi module (optional V2 upgrade) lets owners and installers monitor and adjust the entire system remotely from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Water chemistry & dosing

At the heart of the Control Station are integrated pH and ORP probes with a dedicated measuring chamber. The unit drives up to two peristaltic dosing pumps — one for pH correction, one for chlorine — and fires them only when sensor readings drift from the set points, reducing chemical consumption. An optional free-chlorine probe is available for public or commercial pools that require direct chlorine measurement rather than ORP inference.

Equipment scheduling & automation

The Control Station manages far more than chemistry: it supports five programmable filtration schedules, variable-speed and single-phase pump control, heat-pump on/off with temperature set-point, pool lighting with colour adjustment and automatic timers, and two auxiliary contacts for extras such as UV systems, garden lighting, or motorised valves. Cover detection is included, allowing the system to scale back filtration and dosing automatically when the pool is covered.

Remote access & installer integration

The onboard LCD screen provides clear local feedback, while the Vistapool platform gives pool owners and authorised installers remote visibility and control over every function. Installers can diagnose and adjust settings without a site visit, making the Control Station a strong choice for managed pools and high-specification private installations where ongoing service contracts are offered.
