The BL130-301 is a replacement peristaltic pump rotor for Hanna Instruments BL13x series dosing pumps. The rotor carries the rollers that compress the pump tube to move chemical solution, making it one of the core wear parts of the pump head. It is used in commercial pool water treatment systems where the BL13x controller doses pH correction or disinfectant.

What it fits

Designed for Hanna Instruments peristaltic dosing pumps in the BL13x series. It is a direct-fit replacement for the original rotor supplied in the pump head. Confirm your controller model before ordering, as rotors from other Hanna pump families are not interchangeable.

Where it sits

The rotor mounts on the motor shaft inside the pump head, behind the transparent front cover. The pump tube is routed around the rotor so the rollers squeeze it in sequence and push the dosing chemical toward the injection point. Always switch off and depressurise the dosing line before opening the pump head.

Installation steps

Remove the pump head cover, take out the old squeeze tube and slide the worn rotor off the drive shaft. Fit the new rotor, seat the tube evenly around the rollers and refit the cover without pinching the tubing. Run the pump briefly and check for smooth rotation and steady flow before returning the system to service.

Service life

The rotor wears more slowly than the squeeze tube but does degrade over time through roller bearing wear and chemical exposure. Replace it when rollers no longer turn freely, when flow becomes irregular despite a new tube, or when visible grooves or cracks appear. Many operators fit a new rotor after several tube changes as preventive maintenance.
