Davey - Small Spanner for Silensor & SilensorPro Pumps - 13810-1SP
Davey – Small Spanner for Silensor & SilensorPro Pumps
The Davey Small Silensor Spanner (part 13810-1SP) is a purpose-built service tool designed for the disassembly and re-assembly of Davey Silensor and SilensorPro pool pumps. It is used to remove and tighten the locking nut at the rear of the motor and to secure the casing nut during reassembly — tasks that cannot be performed reliably with a standard spanner.
Compatibilità
This spanner is a genuine Davey service tool for the Silensor SLS and SLL pump series, as well as the SilensorPro range. It works alongside its counterpart, the Large Silensor Spanner (13810SP), and both are specified as required tools in the official Davey Silensor servicing instructions.
When You Need It
The small spanner is required whenever the pump is opened for internal servicing — including mechanical seal replacement, bearing changes, impeller removal, or motor end-shield work. Without the correct spanner, there is a real risk of damaging the pump’s case nuts or leaving fasteners incorrectly torqued.
Perché l'originale conta
Davey engineered this spanner specifically for the unique nut geometry found on the Silensor motor housing. Using a generic tool risks rounding off soft case nuts, which can make future servicing far more difficult and costly. Keeping the genuine tool on hand ensures every service job is done safely and to Davey’s own specifications.
