Davey – EcoSalt U-Shape Cell Union 60mm

The Davey M8229 is a genuine 60 mm union fitting designed specifically for the Davey EcoSalt U-shaped (inverted U) electrolytic cell. It provides the watertight, serviceable pipe connection between the cell and the pool’s circulation pipework, allowing the cell to be removed and refitted without cutting into the plumbing.

Compatibilità

This union is designed for the original Davey EcoSalt chlorinator series featuring the characteristic U-shaped (BMSC) cell — the inverted U-shaped cell design with two voltage terminals, as used across the EcoSalt BMSC range (13 g/h, 20 g/h and 26 g/h models). It is not intended for the EcoSalt 2 series, which uses a different in-line cell with its own barrel union fittings.

Using a genuine Davey replacement union ensures correct thread form, material grade, and dimensional fit for the EcoSalt U-shaped cell housing. Installazione

The union should be installed by a competent pool technician. Always use thread seal tape on threaded fittings to ensure a watertight connection, and ensure the system is fully isolated from power and water pressure before disconnecting or reconnecting the cell. Verify pipe diameter is 60 mm before ordering.
