Delivering up to 55 m³/h through a 75 mm glue-socket connection, the STP-2200 is a 2.2 kW single-phase counter-current pump designed to create a powerful, adjustable swimming current in residential and semi-commercial pools. Its electropneumatic switch provides safe, hands-free on/off control directly at the poolside nozzle panel, making it a practical choice for both retrofits and new builds.
Hydraulic performance & jet control
The pump drives a 40 mm counterflow nozzle whose jet strength, air-suction ratio, and direction can all be adjusted independently, allowing swimmers to tailor resistance to their training level. The single-stage centrifugal design handles the high flow rates needed for an effective swimming trainer without excessive energy draw, and the unit is compatible with concrete, liner, prefabricated, and panelled pool constructions.
Motor & materials
The aluminium motor housing (alloy L-2521) keeps weight manageable while dissipating heat efficiently; the AISI-304 stainless steel motor shaft resists corrosion in wet plant-room environments. The Noryl impeller paired with a graphite-and-steatite mechanical seal and epoxy-resin-impregnated windings delivers long service life with minimal maintenance. IP55 ingress protection and Class F insulation rating are standard across the STP-2200 platform.
Pipework & installation
The 75 mm glue-socket connection suits standard PVC pressure pipework widely available across Europe, simplifying installation for pool contractors. Suction and discharge mountings are moulded in polypropylene for chemical resistance, and the front cover panel consolidates the nozzle, air-suction port, and pneumatic switch into a single tidy fascia. Note that pipework, fittings, and any wall niche are supplied separately.
