Designed as a direct replacement or spare redox (Rx) electrode for Aqua Technopool automated dosing and water-treatment systems, this sensor measures oxidation-reduction potential across a range of 0–1000 mV — giving the controller the precise data it needs to regulate chlorine dosing in your pool. It connects via a standard BNC connector and is purpose-matched to the Technopool pH/Rx controller family, ensuring reliable, calibration-ready performance from the outset.

Redox measurement & signal accuracy

The Rx electrode delivers a continuous mV signal that the Technopool controller reads in real time to maintain the redox setpoint you have programmed. Calibration is carried out at a single reference point using a 475 mV buffer solution; the controller then displays probe quality as a percentage, alerting you if the electrode needs attention or replacement. This straightforward calibration routine keeps downtime to a minimum during routine maintenance.

Compatibility & connection

The sensor is designed specifically for the Technopool pH/Rx dosing system range — including Technopool3 variants — and plugs directly into the dedicated BNC redox input on the controller. The plastic electrode housing is suited to the wet, chemically active environment of a pool plant room, and the cable (typically 5 m on Technopool-family electrodes) gives enough reach from the pipe-mounted probe holder to the wall-mounted controller without extensions.

When to replace your Rx probe

As a consumable component of the automated dosing system, the redox probe should be replaced when calibration quality drops to 25% or below — a threshold the Technopool controller reports automatically after each calibration cycle. Keeping a spare Rx sensor on hand ensures water-quality monitoring is never interrupted, which is particularly important for pools with continuous bather load or commercial use.
