This is the genuine OEM wheel tube assembly (timing track variant) for the Dolphin Supreme M5 and a wide range of compatible Dolphin robotic pool cleaners. It sits at the core of each drive wheel station, providing the structural tube, insert, and bearing interface that the timing track rides on as the robot navigates the pool floor, walls, and waterline.

The assembly forms the inner axle structure of each driven wheel position, synchronising rotation between the motor output and the rubber timing track. It keeps the track tensioned correctly and aligned on the chassis so the robot maintains consistent traction and straight-line coverage. Without a sound tube and insert, the track slips, wobbles, or sheds entirely mid-cycle.

This part is confirmed for the Dolphin Supreme M5 and Liberty, and also fits the DX5, DX5s, DX6, DLX5, M400, M500, C3, C4, Triton Plus, Oasis Z5, Oasis Z5i, Wave 60, Wave 75, Wave 80, Wave 90, Edge, Odyssey, Sigma, and Aquarius XL. Two assemblies are required per robot — one per wheel station — so order accordingly. Always cross-check your model number before purchasing.

The clearest indicator is a track that keeps jumping off the wheel during a cleaning cycle, particularly on inclines or when transitioning from the floor to the wall. You may also notice uneven drive — the robot drifting or spinning in circles — caused by a worn or cracked tube interior that no longer holds the bearing concentrically. Visible cracks in the tube body or play in the wheel when you rock it by hand confirm the part is due for replacement.

Release the brush roll and side panel to expose the wheel station — no specialist tooling required beyond a Phillips screwdriver. Slide the old tube assembly off the axle peg, fit the new assembly with the insert aligned to the track channel, and refit the panel until it clicks. Two assemblies complete a full drive-wheel replacement on one robot. The simplified brush-change design on the M5 platform means you access the wheel station as part of the normal brush-swap procedure.
