Rated to a robust 30 bar working pressure and tolerant of temperatures up to 120 °C, this solid brass hose tail adaptor from Profec transitions a 1″ BSP male thread to a 25 mm hose tail barb in a compact 50 mm body length. It is equally at home on pool pump connections, filter manifolds, heating circuits, and chemical dosing lines where a reliable, permanent thread-to-hose joint is required.

The 30 bar pressure rating places this adaptor well above the demands of virtually any pool or spa hydraulic circuit, offering a generous safety margin for high-head pump installations and pressurised dosing systems. The 120 °C maximum temperature tolerance further extends its suitability to heat pump plumbing, solar heating collectors, and hot-water pre-heating loops without risk of deformation or seal failure.

Machined from solid brass, the body resists corrosion from chlorinated water, salt solutions, and common pool chemicals far more effectively than plastic alternatives. The standard 34 mm spanner flat allows controlled, torque-accurate tightening to a consistent seal — an important detail when the fitting is located in a confined pump housing or behind a filter vessel.

One end carries a 1″ male BSP thread for direct engagement with pump ports, filter unions, or manifold tees; the opposite end presents a 25 mm barbed hose tail that grips reinforced flexible hose securely without the need for additional reducers. At just 50 mm in overall length, the adaptor keeps plumbing runs tight and minimises dead-leg volume in the circuit.
