This is the genuine Hydro-Pro replacement water outlet temperature sensor (TH2) complete with its pre-fitted plug connector, designed for the Hydro-Pro Inverter heat pump. The TH2 sensor continuously monitors the temperature of water leaving the heat exchanger, supplying the control board with the precise readings it needs to regulate heating output safely and efficiently. A failed or inaccurate TH2 sensor typically triggers an outlet sensor fault code and can prevent the unit from operating.

This sensor is a factory spare part for the Hydro-Pro Inverter heat pump, Type Xp26Dcsi+. Before ordering, always cross-reference the SKU (7020265) against your unit’s spare parts diagram or service manual to confirm fitment, as sensor specifications can vary between Inverter sub-models and production batches.

Genuine Hydro-Pro sensors are matched to the exact resistance curve and connector format specified by the control board, ensuring accurate temperature readings across the full operating range. Third-party sensors with differing NTC characteristics can produce offset readings, leading to inefficient heating cycles or persistent fault codes. The included 6×4 plug connector ensures a direct, tool-free connection to the original wiring harness with no splicing required.

Always isolate the heat pump from the mains power supply before accessing internal components. The TH2 sensor is located on the water outlet side of the heat exchanger; disconnect the existing plug, remove the old sensor, fit the new one, and reconnect the plug. Commissioning should be carried out by a qualified technician in accordance with the Hydro-Pro Inverter service manual.
