This is the genuine Maytronics replacement filter cover assembly (ASSY) for the Dolphin E20 robotic pool cleaner. It forms the top-loading lid that locks the filter basket securely inside the robot’s filter compartment, ensuring debris is contained and correct filtration geometry is maintained throughout every cleaning cycle. Also confirmed to fit the closely related Dolphin E25 variant.

The filter cover sits directly over the filter basket on the E20’s top-loading filter system. It clips into place to seal the filter compartment, preventing debris bypass around the basket and keeping the basket correctly seated against the suction flow. Without a correctly fitted cover, unfiltered water can short-circuit through the housing, returning fine particles to the pool and reducing overall cleaning efficiency.

This assembly is the correct filter cover for the Maytronics Dolphin E20 and Dolphin E25 robotic pool cleaners. The E20 is designed for pools up to 10 m and provides floor and wall coverage with a 2-hour default cleaning cycle. Do not fit this cover to other E-series models without confirming part number compatibility, as filter housing geometry varies across the range.

Inspect the filter cover if you notice reduced suction, debris returning to the pool after a cleaning cycle, or visible cracks, warping, or broken retaining clips on the existing cover. A damaged or ill-fitting cover breaks the seal around the filter basket, allowing dirty water to bypass filtration entirely. Distortion from UV exposure or chemical attack is the most common cause of failure on this component.

Maytronics engineers this cover to the exact dimensional tolerances of the E20 filter housing. Aftermarket alternatives frequently exhibit clip incompatibilities or dimensional creep that prevents a proper seal, undermining the filtration performance the robot was designed to deliver. As a certified genuine spare, this assembly carries Maytronics’ standard parts warranty and will not void the robot’s service agreement.
