This is the genuine Davey impeller locking kit (part number 403502) for the StarFlo three-phase pool pump range. It secures the impeller to the motor shaft, ensuring the rotating assembly stays firmly in place during operation. It is typically replaced during a pump overhaul, when wear or loosening causes reduced flow, vibration, or unusual noise.

This kit is designed exclusively for the Davey StarFlo three-phase CE models: DSF3003FCE (1.5 hp / 1,100 W) and DSF4203FCE (2.2 hp / 1,650 W). These are European-market variants rated for 380–415 V, 50 Hz three-phase supply. It is not compatible with the single-phase StarFlo CE models or any other Davey pump series — always verify your pump model number from the nameplate before ordering.

Davey-original parts are engineered to match the tolerances of the StarFlo’s corrosion-resistant Noryl impeller and 316 stainless-steel motor shaft, ensuring a secure fit and full protection of the mechanical seal and bearings. Using non-OEM fastening hardware risks premature wear, impeller slip, and potential motor damage — none of which is covered under warranty.

Fitting the impeller locking kit requires disassembly of the pump wet end, including removal of the diffuser and impeller. This work should be carried out by a qualified pool technician or pump engineer. Always isolate power completely before beginning any internal pump service, and refer to the official Davey StarFlo installation and operating instructions for torque and assembly guidance.
