This is the genuine Davey replacement pre-filter lid (Lid SLL) for the Davey Silensor SLL series pool pumps, identified by Davey part number 13563. It forms the top closure of the pump’s strainer pot, providing a watertight seal that allows easy access to the leaf basket for routine cleaning. It is typically replaced when the original lid becomes cracked, warped, or no longer seals correctly, causing air ingestion or loss of prime.

This lid is designed to fit the Davey Silensor SLL range, including the SLL200, SLL300, and SLL400 models — both the pre-2017 generation (model suffix -0) and the post-2017 generation (model suffix -1). It is not intended for the SLS (standard) Silensor series. Always verify your pump’s model number on the data label before ordering.

As a genuine Davey spare part, the Lid SLL is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original component, ensuring a reliable seal over the large 4.5-litre strainer basket that the SLL series is known for. Aftermarket lids may not mate correctly with the SLL pump body thread, risking air leaks, loss of prime, and potential motor damage. Fitting a genuine part protects your warranty and the long-term reliability of your pump.

The lid is hand-tightened onto the pump strainer pot. Always ensure the lid O-ring (sold separately) is in good condition and correctly seated before fitting. Davey recommends that any internal pump servicing beyond basket cleaning be carried out by a qualified pool technician familiar with Silensor pump assembly procedures.
