This genuine Davey spare part is a pipe saddle clamp (pipe tap clamp) designed for 63 mm pipework and used in the installation of the Davey Regul’Matic salt chlorination controller system. It wraps around an existing pressurised pool pipe, providing a secure, leak-free tapped mounting point through which the Redox or pH probe assembly is fitted. It is the foundation component that anchors the probe in the water flow path so the Regul’Matic can accurately measure and regulate sanitiser levels.

This saddle clamp is a dedicated spare part for the Davey Regul’Matic automatic pool water treatment controller. It is sized for 63 mm (outside diameter) rigid pool pipework — a standard pipe diameter in European pool installations. If your existing plumbing runs 63 mm pipe and you are installing or reinstalling a Regul’Matic probe assembly, this is the correct clamp. Always verify your pipe diameter before ordering, as Davey also offers saddle clamps in other sizes.

The saddle clamp is fitted permanently to the pipe during initial Regul’Matic installation: a hole is drilled in the pipe, the clamp is bonded around it, and the probe housing is threaded in through the clamp outlet. Replacement is typically needed if the clamp cracks, leaks, is damaged during maintenance, or when a Regul’Matic system is being relocated to a different pipe run. Using the genuine Davey part ensures a pressure-tight seal and the correct thread engagement for the Davey probe fitting.

The Davey Regul’Matic system is engineered as a matched assembly of controller, probe, and pipe fittings. Using a genuine Davey saddle clamp guarantees dimensional compatibility with the probe body and housing supplied with the Regul’Matic, maintaining a watertight connection and reliable probe readings. Off-brand clamps may not match the thread or sealing geometry, risking leaks or inaccurate chlorine regulation.
