The Davey M1224H5SP is a genuine replacement cell head assembly with cable glands for the Monarch Davey ProMatic ESC and MCS series salt water chlorinators. It forms the top cap of the electrolytic cell body, housing the electrical connections and cable entry glands that carry power to the cell plates. This part is typically replaced when the original head shows cracking, water ingress at the cable glands, or damaged electrical terminals that result in erratic chlorine output or controller fault codes.

This cell head assembly is compatible with the Davey Monarch ProMatic ESC 16, ESC 24, ESC 36, and ESC 48, as well as the MCS (MSC) 16 C/T, MSC 24 C/T, MSC 36C, and MSC 40C salt chlorinator models. It is not compatible with any other Monarch Davey Chloromatic salt cell series — always verify your exact chlorinator model before ordering.

As a genuine Davey spare part, the M1224H5SP is manufactured to the precise tolerances of the original cell, ensuring a watertight seal at the cable glands and reliable electrical contact with the cell electrodes. Aftermarket alternatives can introduce leaks or inconsistent conductivity that shorten overall cell life. Fitting a genuine part also keeps your chlorinator within Davey’s servicing guidelines.

The cell head assembly comes complete with cable glands and is designed to replace the existing head unit on the cell body without modification. Power to the chlorinator must be fully isolated before beginning work. Due to the nature of the electrical connections and the importance of a leak-free seal in a poolside environment, installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended.
