Zodiac – Thermal Relay for Z950 35 Heat Pump

This is the genuine Zodiac replacement thermal relay for the Z950 35 pool heat pump (WH000456). The thermal relay is a critical electrical safety component that monitors current draw and temperature within the heat pump’s power circuit, tripping automatically to protect the compressor and motor from overload or overheating damage. It corresponds to position 26 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram.

Kompatibilitás

This thermal relay is designed exclusively for the Zodiac Z950 35 heat pump (model reference WH000456). The Z950 35 is a large-pool heat pump featuring a vertical air outlet, capable of operating in ambient temperatures down to -12 °C. Always verify your heat pump’s model reference against WH000456 before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

As an OEM Fluidra/Zodiac part, this thermal relay is engineered to the exact electrical specifications of the Z950 35’s power circuit. Using a non-genuine substitute risks incorrect trip thresholds, which can leave the compressor unprotected or cause nuisance tripping. A genuine part ensures the protection circuit behaves exactly as the manufacturer intended, preserving both performance and warranty compliance.

Telepítés

Replacing the thermal relay requires working inside the heat pump’s electrical enclosure and involves mains-voltage components. Zodiac’s own documentation states that only a person qualified in the relevant technical fields — electricity, hydraulics, or refrigeration — is authorised to carry out repair work on the appliance. Professional installation by a qualified technician is strongly recommended.
