The Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 Reference Kit contains three cuvettes filled with coloured resin, each pre-loaded with fixed colour standards for ZERO, Free Chlorine (low range and high range), pH, Cyanuric Acid (CYA), and Total Alkalinity (TA). It allows you to verify and adjust your PoolLab 2.0 photometer against known reference values, giving you confidence that your device is reading pool water accurately. This is an essential quality-assurance accessory for professional pool technicians and serious pool owners who depend on precise results.

Why Verification Matters

Accurate readings for chlorine, pH, CYA, and total alkalinity are the foundation of safe, balanced pool water. Chlorine that appears in range but is undermined by high CYA, or a pH drift of even 0.2 units, can compromise swimmer safety and equipment longevity. Regularly checking your photometer against certified colour standards catches any optical drift caused by cuvette wear, storage, or travel before it leads to incorrect chemical dosing.

Kompatibilitás

This reference kit is designed exclusively for the Water-ID PoolLab 2.0 photometer and is not compatible with the older PoolLab 1.0. The kit uses the same PoolLab 3.0-style cuvette format with a gasket, ensuring a perfect optical fit in the PoolLab 2.0’s triple measurement chamber. It is made by Water-i.d. GmbH, Germany.

Használati útmutató

Allow the reference cuvette to reach room temperature, wipe the exterior clean to avoid fingerprints affecting the optics, then insert it into the PoolLab 2.0 and run the test for the relevant parameter exactly as you would a normal pool water sample. Compare the photometer’s reading to the pre-defined reference value printed on the cuvette — if readings deviate, recalibrate the device before continuing routine testing.
