The VDL DIL ball valve in PVC-U offers reliable, full-bore shut-off for pool pipework, irrigation systems, and greenhouse water distribution. Sized at 40 mm (DN32 bore) with plain glue socket ends on both sides, it bonds permanently into standard PVC-U pressure pipe systems using solvent cement, producing a leak-free joint rated to 16 bar at 20 °C. The two-piece union body allows the valve internals to be serviced or replaced without cutting the pipe, a significant advantage in permanent installations.
Body and end-connectors are manufactured from unplasticised PVC (PVC-U), making the valve chemically resistant to chlorinated pool water, fertiliser solutions, and mild acids across a service temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C. The spherical closure element is also PVC-U, seated against EPDM seals that maintain elasticity across the full temperature range and resist ozone and UV degradation. The orange lever handle provides clear open/closed indication and gives comfortable quarter-turn operation even with wet hands.

Kompatibilitás
Fits standard metric PVC-U pressure pipe with a 40 mm outside diameter conforming to EN 1452 (Series 1). Solvent-cement jointing follows EN 14814 / manufacturer solvent cement guidelines. The 32 mm full bore is compatible with DN32 fittings on the pipe run. The EPDM seals are suitable for potable water, pool water (chlorinated), and common irrigation fertiliser solutions; they are not recommended for aromatic hydrocarbons or concentrated acids. Verify chemical compatibility before use in industrial chemical dosing applications.
