The Profec DN125 ultrasonic water meter is a high-capacity, flanged inline flow measurement instrument engineered for large-diameter water distribution, industrial process lines, and commercial irrigation networks. Using transit-time ultrasonic technology with stainless steel 304 transducer ports, the meter delivers accurate, pressure-drop-free measurement without any moving parts — eliminating mechanical wear and reducing long-term maintenance costs. The robust carbon-steel body is finished in blue epoxy coating and connects via standard DIN flanges rated to 16 bar, making it fully compatible with existing steel and ductile-iron pipework.

Certified to CE and MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) accuracy Class 2, this meter meets the legal metrological requirements for fiscal and billing applications across the EU. The integrated 3.6 V lithium battery provides years of autonomous operation without external power wiring, while the 2-wire M-Bus output allows straightforward integration into building management systems, SCADA networks, and automated meter reading (AMR) infrastructure. The DN125 DIN flange pattern (PN16) fits standard carbon-steel, ductile-iron, and stainless-steel pipework flanged to DIN EN 1092-1. The 2-wire M-Bus output is compatible with M-Bus masters and converters conforming to EN 13757-2/3, including widely used building-automation and AMR controllers. This meter is suitable for cold and moderately heated potable water, raw water, and non-aggressive process water up to 50 °C. It is not rated for steam, compressed gas, or chemically aggressive media.
