The Profec Safe 600 is a double-union true-bore ball valve machined from grey PVC-U, designed for demanding industrial, pool, and irrigation pipework where a bubble-tight shut-off and easy in-line serviceability are essential. Rated at 16 bar (PN16) and suitable for continuous service up to 60 °C, this DN40 valve accepts standard 50 mm metric OD pipe directly into its solvent-weld glue sockets on both ends, making it a straightforward drop-in component for PVC-U pressure systems.

The double-union construction – visible in the knurled union nuts on each port – allows the valve body to be removed from the pipeline without cutting pipe or disturbing fittings, which dramatically reduces maintenance downtime in plant rooms, filter houses, and greenhouse irrigation headers. The full-bore ball gives minimal flow restriction, and the Viton (FKM) seat and PTFE/Viton seal package ensures chemical compatibility with chlorinated water, mild acids, and a broad range of process fluids. The red lever handle provides an unambiguous open/closed visual indication at a glance.

Kompatibilitás

This valve is designed for direct solvent-welding to PVC-U pipe with a 50 mm metric outside diameter conforming to EN 1452 / ISO 1452. The double-union ends accept standard PVC-U socket fittings of the same OD series. The Viton seal package is compatible with chlorinated pool water, potable water (subject to local approval), and many common irrigation chemicals. It is not recommended for use with aromatic hydrocarbons, concentrated oxidising acids, or THF-based solvents. Maximum operating temperature is 60 °C; de-rate pressure accordingly at elevated temperatures per PVC-U pressure–temperature curves.
