This is the genuine Polaris replacement O-ring that seals the feed pipe and timer blank assembly into the cleaner head of the Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 automatic pool cleaner. Sitting at position 31 in the official Fluidra/Polaris exploded parts diagram, it provides a watertight connection between the feed pipe assembly and the cleaner body, preventing pressure loss and water bypass that would undermine cleaning performance.
