Davey – Crystal Clear ER Top Housing for DCC270EU

This is the genuine Davey replacement top housing for the Crystal Clear ER DCC270EU cartridge filter — the twin-cartridge, top-of-range model in the EU Crystal Clear ER series. The top housing forms the upper half of the filter tank, sealing the pressure vessel over the cartridge elements and maintaining the water-tight integrity required for safe, efficient filtration. It is typically replaced when the original housing shows cracking, UV degradation, or damage to the sealing face.

Kompatibilitás

This top housing is a dedicated spare part for the Davey Crystal Clear ER DCC270EU cartridge filter (the 270 sq ft twin-filter EU model). It is not interchangeable with other models in the ER range, such as the DCC135EU, DCC180EU, or DCC225EU, which use differently sized housings. Always confirm your filter’s model number before ordering.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

The Crystal Clear ER tank is constructed from high-impact polypropylene engineered to withstand continuous pool-chemical exposure and a maximum operating pressure of 250 kPa. A genuine Davey top housing guarantees the correct fit to the lower tank body, correct alignment of the sealing face, and full compatibility with the filter’s integrated air-bleed and pressure-gauge ports — safeguards that aftermarket parts cannot reliably replicate.

Telepítés

Before opening the filter, always shut off the pump and depressurise the tank using the manual air bleed valve. The top housing should be seated squarely onto the lower tank body and secured according to Davey’s installation instructions. Professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended to ensure a leak-free, code-compliant result.
