Davey – Crystal Clear / Easy Clear Cartridge Filter Lid Lock Ring

The Davey Lid Lock Ring (part Q2334YSP) is the genuine OEM retaining ring that secures the lid on Davey Crystal Clear and Easy Clear cartridge filters. It holds the filter lid firmly in place during operation and, when released, allows quick, tool-free access to the filter cartridge for routine cleaning or replacement. This is the part to reach for when the existing lock ring is cracked, warped, or no longer provides a secure closure.

Kompatibilitás

This lock ring fits the Davey Crystal Clear and Easy Clear cartridge filter range, including the CF500, CF750, CF1000, CF1500, CF1750, and CF2250 models. Always cross-reference your filter model number before ordering — a separate 280 mm locking ring variant exists for some older units, and mixing sizes will result in an improper fit.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

Manufactured by Davey Water Products in Australia, this part is made from materials engineered to be rot resistant, chlorine resistant, and UV stabilised for long-term outdoor use. An aftermarket substitute may not match the thread pitch or diameter precisely, risking leaks or lid ejection under pressure — a safety concern in any pressurised filtration system.

Telepítés

Before servicing, always depressurise the filter using the manual air bleed valve and isolate the pump. The lock ring unscrews by hand; no special tools are required. Inspect the lid O-ring at the same time and replace it if it shows any signs of flattening or cracking to ensure a watertight seal once the lid is refitted.
