Davey CrystalClear ER Cartridge Filter (DCC135 / DCC180) exploded view & spare parts
This page covers the complete exploded-view diagram and bill of materials for the Davey CrystalClear ER Series cartridge filters, factory references DCC135EU és DCC180EU. Both models share the same tank body and lid assembly, differing principally in their cartridge element, which makes it especially important to confirm your model before ordering position 7. The DCC135 houses a 12.5 m² filter area element, while the DCC180 steps up to a 16.7 m² element — all other numbered parts in this diagram are common across both variants. Use the diagram and the parts list together and you should be able to identify the component you need within a few minutes.
Hogyan lehet a számozott ábra segítségével megtalálni az alkatrészt?
Every numbered call-out printed on the exploded-view diagram corresponds directly to a numbered row in the parts list below the image — find the area of the filter you are working on, then trace the call-out number to its matching row to obtain the part description and SKU. Once you have the SKU, enter it into the site search or simply add it to your basket directly from the parts list table. Be aware that a single position number can appear more than once on the drawing: position 7 in this diagram is used for both the DCC135EU cartridge element (SKU 701039) and the DCC180EU cartridge element (SKU 701038), so always cross-check the position description against your model reference before ordering. Some positions cover multi-piece packs rather than individual items — position 2 (Knob – Lid) is supplied as a pack of 2, and position 9 (O-ring – Union) is also a pack of 2 — so factor that into your count before adding to the basket. If you are unsure which area of the filter a number falls in, work methodically from the lid downwards: lid components carry lower position numbers and plumbing connections carry higher ones. When in doubt, the part description in the table is the quickest cross-check against what you can see on your filter.
Main replaceable assemblies on the CrystalClear ER Cartridge Filter (DCC135 / DCC180)
The filter is broadly divided into three service zones: the lid and pressure-management assembly at the top, the cartridge element in the centre of the tank, and the plumbing connections at the base. At the very top of the filter, the locking ring at position 1 (SKU 33363) secures the lid to the tank body; it is the first component to remove when servicing the cartridge and the first to inspect if you notice any lid movement under pressure. The lid itself sits at position 5 (SKU 33366) and is sealed against the tank by the lid O-ring at position 6 (SKU 33367) — a flattened, cracked, or swollen O-ring is the most common cause of lid leaks and should be replaced as routine maintenance whenever the lid is removed for cartridge cleaning. Two knobs at position 2 (SKU 33364, pack of 2) are threaded into the lid to allow hand-tightening without tools. Mounted on the lid, the manual air relief valve at position 3 (SKU 33337) — supplied complete with its own O-ring — lets you bleed trapped air and depressurise the filter safely before opening; the oil-filled pressure gauge at position 4 (SKU 33365) gives a continuous reading to indicate when the element is becoming blocked and cleaning is required. The cartridge element at position 7 is the heart of the filter: the DCC135EU element (SKU 701039) and the DCC180EU element (SKU 701038) are both fabricated from pleated polyester fabric and are not interchangeable between models due to their differing filtration areas. At the base of the filter, the barrel union assembly at position 8 (SKU 33382) provides the pipe connections to your pool circuit, and the union O-rings at position 9 (SKU 33369, pack of 2) seal those joints — replacing these whenever unions are disconnected will prevent slow weeping leaks from developing over time.
Choosing between variants and pack sizes
The only position in this diagram where you must actively choose between two variant SKUs is position 7, the cartridge element: order SKU 701039 if your filter is a DCC135EU, or SKU 701038 if it is a DCC180EU. Fitting the wrong element will result in either a poor fit within the tank or insufficient filtration area for your pump flow rate, so it is worth confirming your model number — printed on the filter body label — before proceeding. For the pack-quantity positions, the quantities supplied are fixed by Davey: position 2 ships as a pair of lid knobs and position 9 ships as a pair of union O-rings, meaning a single SKU order covers both knobs or both O-rings respectively. There are no lettered sub-variants (such as 10a / 10b) in this particular diagram, so once you have confirmed your model reference for position 7, all remaining positions are a straightforward one-to-one selection.
