This is the genuine AstralPool replacement run capacitor (10 microfarads) for the Alaska Basic pool pump. The capacitor provides the phase shift required by the single-phase motor to start and run reliably — without it, the motor will hum, fail to start, or overheat. It is the original part listed at position 22 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for the Alaska Basic pump range.

Designed exclusively for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump (parent SKU 69383). The Alaska Basic is a single-phase, 230 V/50 Hz self-priming pool pump for above-ground and in-ground installations. Always verify your pump model and existing capacitor rating before ordering, as other power variants in the Alaska range may use a different capacitance value.
