AstralPool – Filter Base Ø 1200 mm for Berlin Sand Filter

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement filter base for the Berlin bobbin-wound sand filter in the Ø 1200 mm diameter size (product family 00546). The base forms the structural foundation of the filter tank, supporting the entire filtration assembly and providing stable, leak-free operation. It is an OEM spare part referenced at position 20 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for the Berlin 1050–1200 series.

Kompatibilitás

This filter base is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Berlin Sand Filter Ø 1200 mm (parent SKU 00546), which operates at up to 2.5 kg/cm² and handles a maximum flow rate of 56 m³/h, making it suitable for commercial and large residential pools of approximately 350–450 m³. Always cross-reference the exploded-view position (No. 20) and your filter’s serial plate before ordering to ensure an exact fit.

Miért fontos az eredetiség?

An OEM base guarantees the dimensional tolerances, material grade, and chemical resistance demanded by a high-capacity fibreglass wound pressure vessel. Third-party alternatives may not replicate the precise flange geometry or material specification, risking structural failure under operating pressure. Choosing a genuine AstralPool part protects your warranty and ensures long-term reliability.

Telepítés

Replacement of the filter base on a large commercial filter of this size is a significant task requiring full drainage of the filter, removal of all internal pipework, and proper re-sealing of all mating surfaces. We recommend this work be carried out by a qualified pool technician familiar with AstralPool Berlin filter assemblies.
