This is the genuine AstralPool replacement cable gland seal for the Light Concrete Pool underwater light fitting (parent SKU S10610B). Occupying position 5 in the official Fluidra exploded view, this component forms the watertight compression seal around the supply cable where it enters the light niche body, preventing water from migrating back through the conduit into the fitting.

This gland seal is designed specifically for the AstralPool Light Concrete Pool niche assembly (S10610B). Always verify against the official Fluidra exploded diagram for your unit before ordering — using an incorrect seal can compromise the watertight integrity of the installation.

A failing or incorrect gland seal is one of the most common causes of water ingress in underwater pool light niches. Using a genuine AstralPool part ensures the correct compression characteristics, material compatibility, and dimensional fit to maintain a secure, long-lasting seal around the cable. Non-genuine seals may not meet the IP-rated protection standard required for submerged pool lighting.

The cable should be threaded through the gland seal before the fitting is positioned in the niche wall. Once the cable is routed, tighten the gland nut firmly until the cable cannot be pulled free by hand. Correct tightening is essential — under-tightening risks water ingress, while over-tightening can damage the cable sheath. Installation of underwater pool electrical components should be carried out by a qualified electrician or pool technician.
