This is the genuine AstralPool replacement manifold arm assembly designed for the Viena Filter with a 1600 mm tank diameter (model SLX1600-30M). The manifold arm assembly is the internal lateral distribution system at the base of the filter tank — its radial arms collect filtered water across the full floor of the vessel while preventing filter sand or media from passing through to the return line. Replacing a cracked or damaged manifold restores proper filtration efficiency and prevents sand from entering the pool.

This assembly is an exact-fit replacement for the AstralPool Viena Filter, tank diameter 1600 mm, model reference SLX1600-30M. It corresponds to position 18 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram for this filter. Always verify your filter model number and tank diameter before ordering, as manifold assemblies are size-specific and are not interchangeable between different tank diameters.

Genuine AstralPool parts are manufactured to the original engineering tolerances, ensuring a secure, leak-free fit within the filter tank. A correctly seated manifold arm assembly maintains even water distribution across the filter bed, maximises contact time with the filter media, and prevents channelling or bypass — all of which are critical to water clarity and chemical efficiency. Non-genuine alternatives may fail to seal correctly, causing sand ingress or reduced flow.

Installation requires draining and opening the filter tank to access the internal components. The assembly should be seated centrally on the standpipe and all arms confirmed to be undamaged and evenly positioned before the filter is reassembled and returned to service. Due to the size of the Viena D.1600 filter, professional installation by a qualified pool technician is strongly recommended.
