Confirm the outside diameter of your circulation pipe before ordering, as the clamp is size-specific and will not seal on other pipe diameters.<\/p>\n
The clamp is fitted around the circulation pipe at the point where the probe or injection fitting is to be located, typically on the pressure side after the filter for injection and on a suitable straight run for measurement. The pipe is drilled through the clamp port, the gasket is seated and the two halves are bolted together evenly. The threaded port then accepts the probe holder or injection valve.<\/p>\n
The clamp body is a permanent mechanical fitting and normally lasts the life of the pipework. The sealing gasket is the wear item and should be inspected whenever the probe or injection fitting is removed for service. Replace the gasket or the complete clamp if weeping, deformation or chemical attack is visible around the port.<\/p>\n
