Rated to a full 16 bar working pressure at 40 mm diameter, this Jason polypropylene compression elbow delivers a reliable, tool-free 90° direction change in pool and water-system pipework. The compression fitting design means no solvent cement and no curing time — the joint is made and, just as easily, unmade for seasonal maintenance or system modifications. Its distinctive black body with blue compression nut is a hallmark of the Jason range, instantly identifiable in any plant room.

This elbow carries four independent certifications — DVGW (Germany), KIWA (Netherlands), WRAS (United Kingdom), and SVGW (Switzerland) — confirming that the polypropylene compound and sealing elements meet rigorous hygiene and safety standards for contact with drinking water across multiple European markets. For pool installers working on projects that specify regulatory compliance, these approvals remove any doubt about material suitability.

The compression mechanism grips PE pipe securely without adhesive, making it an ideal choice for pool plant rooms where pipework occasionally needs to be broken down for pump or filter servicing. The connection can be disassembled and reassembled, and the fitting is reusable provided seals are in good condition — an advantage over solvent-welded alternatives when future access matters.

Constructed from impact-resistant polypropylene, the body resists the chemical environment of a pool plant room — including chlorinated water and common pool chemicals — while the 16 bar pressure rating provides a generous safety margin well above the operating pressures of domestic and commercial pool circulation systems. The PP construction also makes the fitting lighter and easier to handle than equivalent metal fittings during installation.
