Rated to a full 30 bar working pressure and tolerant of fluid temperatures up to 120 °C, this heavy-duty Profec brass adaptor bridges a 4″ (ØDo-1) male threaded port directly to a 100 mm (ØDo-2) hose tail — making it one of the largest-bore fittings in the Profec industrial range. At 120 mm in overall length and requiring a 105 mm spanner for assembly, it is built for commercial and large-scale pool plant rooms where full-bore flow and leak-free reliability are non-negotiable.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor delivers inherent corrosion resistance across the humid, chemically active environments typical of pool and spa plant rooms. The robust one-piece body eliminates potential leak points that multi-part fittings introduce, and the substantial 105 mm spanner flat allows precise torquing without risk of slipping or deforming the fitting during installation.

A 30 bar maximum working pressure and a 120 °C thermal ceiling give this adaptor a considerable safety margin above the operating conditions of virtually any pool pump or heat-pump header system. This makes it equally suitable for high-head commercial circulation pumps, pressurised filtration manifolds, and industrial water-treatment plant where domestic fittings would be inadequate.

The male thread end mates with standard 4″ threaded ports on pumps, filters, or pipework headers, while the 100 mm hose tail accepts large-bore flexible hose secured with an appropriate hose clip or clamp (not included). The 120 mm overall length provides adequate engagement depth for both connections and accommodates thread sealant tape or compound without fouling the hose-tail barb.
