Rated to 30 bar working pressure and a maximum temperature of 120 °C, this 1¼” male-thread-to-38 mm hose-tail adaptor from Profec is built for demanding pool plant-room and water-treatment environments. At 58 mm overall length and requiring a 42 mm spanner, it provides a compact yet robust transition between threaded pipe runs and flexible reinforced hose on pumps, filters, and ancillary equipment.

Machined from solid brass, the fitting resists the corrosive water chemistry typical of pool and irrigation circuits. The 30 bar pressure ceiling means it comfortably exceeds the operating pressures of all standard pool circulation pumps and high-pressure dosing systems, while the 120 °C temperature rating accommodates heat-pump bypass loops and hot-water service connections.

The male thread end conforms to standard BSP sizing at 1¼”, allowing direct assembly into female-threaded pump ports, valve bodies, or manifolds without adaption. The 38 mm barbed hose tail accepts commonly available reinforced pool and industrial hose; securing with a hose clamp produces a leak-free joint that resists pull-out under pressure.

Profec’s hose tail adaptor range is designed for use across pool plant rooms, water treatment, agriculture, and industrial pipework, making this fitting equally at home connecting a pool pump to a flexible suction line or integrating a chemical dosing manifold. Having a spare on site is good practice during seasonal commissioning or replumbing work.
