This is the genuine Hydro-Pro replacement main control board (PCB), part reference HWM1W-5D00 / IB030R3A, designed for the Hydro-Pro Type Z Inverter swimming pool heat pump range. The main board acts as the central brain of the heat pump, managing inverter operation, sensor inputs, temperature regulation and all system control logic. Replacing a faulty main board restores full electronic control and gets your heat pump operating reliably again.

This main control board is compatible with the Hydro-Pro Type Z Inverter heat pump models Z19/32 (19 kW) and Z24/32 (25.5 kW). Always cross-reference your unit’s existing board part number — HWM1W-5D00 / IB030R3A — before ordering to confirm fitment. It is not intended for other Hydro-Pro heat pump families such as the Type P or PIV series.

A genuine Hydro-Pro main board is manufactured to the exact electrical and firmware specifications of the original, ensuring correct communication between the inverter compressor, sensors, display and safety controls. Aftermarket boards may cause erratic operation, fault codes or premature component failure. Fitting a genuine part also helps maintain your heat pump’s warranty and service record.

Main board replacement requires isolating the unit from the mains power supply, carefully noting all wiring harness connections before removal, and handling the PCB in accordance with electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions. This work should be carried out by a qualified pool heat pump technician or qualified electrician. Refer to the Hydro-Pro Type Z Inverter service manual for the exploded parts diagram and wiring schematic before proceeding.
