This is the genuine OEM titanium heat exchanger designed as a direct replacement for the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter 6 pool heat pump (type Xp06Csie). It is the critical internal component through which refrigerant transfers thermal energy into the pool water, forming the heart of the heat pump’s heating circuit. Replacing a worn or damaged heat exchanger with a genuine Flotide/MEGA part restores full heating performance and protects the rest of the unit.

This heat exchanger is engineered specifically for the Flotide/MEGA Hydro-S Inverter 6 heat pump, type reference Xp06Csie. It is not a universal part — always verify your heat pump’s model reference before ordering. If you are unsure, cross-check the type label on your unit or consult your installation documentation.

Titanium is the premium material of choice for pool heat exchangers because it is inherently resistant to chlorine, salt water, and the wide range of chemicals used in pool treatment. Unlike copper heat exchangers, a titanium unit will not corrode or degrade when pool water chemistry fluctuates, ensuring long service life and consistent thermal transfer performance.

Replacement of the heat exchanger requires draining the heat pump’s water circuit, disconnecting refrigerant lines, and reassembling with correct torque and sealing. This work should be carried out by a qualified pool heating technician or refrigeration engineer. Always power down and isolate the unit fully before beginning any service work.
