This is the genuine Davey replacement electronic control board (PCB) for the Regul’Matic salt chlorination controller — the intelligent brain of the unit that reads Redox (ORP) probe signals and automatically regulates chlorinator output to maintain safe, balanced pool water. It is the correct spare part (Davey part number 1128REG) to restore full functionality when the original board fails due to age, electrical surge, or moisture ingress.

This PCB is designed for the Davey Regul’Matic salt control system controller. The Regul’Matic is compatible with salt chlorination systems of any brand and is particularly suited to indoor pools and covered pools where chlorine demand is lower and over-chlorination risk is higher. Confirm your Regul’Matic unit’s version before ordering, as Davey has produced multiple hardware revisions of this controller.

The electronic board is the core of the Regul’Matic’s automatic regulation logic: it processes the Redox (ORP) signal from the water probe, switches the chlorinator on when sanitiser levels drop, and cuts power when levels are sufficient — protecting the electrolysis cell from unnecessary run time and the pool from chlorine excess. The board also drives the unit’s LED display, mode-selection logic (Auto / Salt System On), and the built-in self-test function. Replacement is typically required after an electrical fault, lightning strike, or persistent condensation causes the board to malfunction.

Using a genuine Davey PCB ensures the control logic, voltage handling, and probe-signal calibration all match the original factory specification. Third-party boards risk misreading ORP values, causing under- or over-chlorination. A genuine part also preserves eligibility for Davey’s standard product warranty terms and gives pool technicians confidence in a like-for-like repair.
