This is the genuine Fluidra replacement diffuser for the Baracuda AquantisMax 150M self-priming pool pump. The diffuser sits between the impeller and the pump body, directing water flow and converting rotational velocity into pressure to maintain efficient circulation. Replacing a worn or damaged diffuser restores the pump’s hydraulic performance and protects other internal components from unnecessary strain.

This diffuser is designed exclusively for the Baracuda AquantisMax 150M pump. Always verify your pump model before ordering, as diffusers are model-specific and will not interchange with other AquantisMax variants or different pump families. Check the label on your pump housing to confirm the exact model designation.

As an original Fluidra spare part, this diffuser is manufactured to the same tolerances as the component fitted at the factory, ensuring a precise fit and correct hydraulic geometry. Aftermarket alternatives can cause flow loss, vibration, or premature wear to the impeller and shaft seal. Fitting a genuine part helps maintain the pump’s rated flow performance and extends its service life.

Replacing the diffuser requires draining the pump, removing the pump lid and basket, and unbolting the pump body to access the wet end. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified pool technician, as reassembly must include correct torque on all fasteners and inspection of the shaft seal and O-rings before returning the pump to service.
