This is the genuine OEM carrying handle for the Zodiac XA iQ series robotic pool cleaner, finished in white to match the robot’s body. Mounted on the top shell of the unit, it allows the operator to lift the robot cleanly out of the pool at the end of a cleaning cycle, keeping hands clear of the draining water and debris. It is a direct, no-modification replacement for the factory-fitted handle supplied on the XA 4010 iQ, XA 4030 iQ, XA 4045 iQ and XA 4095 iQ models.

Function and design

The handle is integrated into the top-access lid area of the XA iQ robot, providing a secure grip point when retrieving the unit from the water. Its ergonomic form distributes the weight of the robot evenly during the lift, reducing strain on the pivot points of the shell. The white finish is UV-stabilised to resist pool-environment degradation — prolonged exposure to sunlight, chlorine and variable water chemistry.

Do not attempt to fit this handle to earlier two-digit XA series robots (20 XA, 30 XA iQ, 40 XA iQ) or to the 3xxx iQ generation, as the shell geometry differs.

When to replace the handle

Replace the handle if you notice any of the following: the pivot pins have become loose or have sheared; the handle body has cracked, snapped or deformed; the hinge no longer holds the handle upright when deployed; or resistance is felt when folding the handle flat. A compromised handle is a safety hazard — if it fails mid-lift over a pool edge the robot can be damaged or injure the operator.
