Zodiac – Low Pressure Switch for Z250 Heat Pump (WH000555)

This is the genuine Zodiac replacement low pressure switch (position 7 in the official Fluidra exploded view) for the Zodiac Z250 Full Inverter pool heat pump, model WH000555. The low pressure switch monitors the refrigerant circuit and cuts off the electrical circuit if pressure drops below a safe threshold, protecting the compressor and other internal components from damage.

Comment ça marche ?

Installed in the refrigerant circuit, the low pressure switch acts as a critical safety device. If the refrigerant pressure falls too low — due to a leak, blockage, or abnormal operating condition — the switch trips and shuts the unit down before serious damage can occur. Annual inspection of this switch is recommended to confirm it is securely connected and responds correctly when triggered.

Compatibilité

This part is designed exclusively for the Zodiac Z250 MD6 (11 kW, Full Inverter, R32, single-phase) heat pump carrying parent SKU WH000555. The Z250 range is a reversible heat pump that both heats and cools pool water, using R32 refrigerant. Always cross-reference the exploded view position (7) and your unit’s model label before ordering to confirm fitment.

Pourquoi l'authenticité est importante

Using an authentic Zodiac/Fluidra part ensures the switch meets the exact pressure ratings and electrical specifications required by the Z250’s refrigerant circuit. Third-party alternatives may not trip at the correct threshold, potentially voiding your warranty and leaving the compressor unprotected. A genuine replacement restores factory-level safety performance and keeps your heat pump running reliably season after season.
