The SOTV2-15-C2P_O is a original OEM electrolysis cell replacement for SOTV2 15 salt chlorinator systems. With 2 plates, this cell restores your chlorinator to full chlorine production without the need to replace the entire unit.
How Salt Electrolysis Works
An electrolysis cell generates chlorine on demand inside your pool’s filtration circuit. A low-voltage DC current passes through titanium electrode plates submerged in the salt-water, splitting sodium chloride into hypochlorous acid — the active disinfectant. The acid sanitises the water then reverts back to salt, making the process continuous, self-sustaining and far gentler on swimmers than traditional chlorine dosing.
