This is the genuine OEM cartridge cover kit for the Dolphin M400 and M500 robotic pool cleaners. It forms the hinged access door on top of the filter housing, securing the cartridge panels in place during operation and allowing quick removal when it’s time to rinse or swap filters. Without an intact cover, the cartridge bay cannot maintain correct water flow through the filter stack.

What this cartridge cover kit does in the Dolphin

The cover latches shut over the cartridge bay and keeps the filter cartridges correctly seated against the inlet flow. It prevents debris from bypassing the filters and re-entering the pool, and it creates the pressure differential that forces pool water through the filter medium. A cracked or broken cover causes a loss of suction efficiency and allows unfiltered water to recirculate.
