Rated for pools up to 120 m³, the Hayward AquaRite HC LS NG operates at an exceptionally low salt concentration of just 1.5 g/L — roughly one-third of a conventional salt system — combining low-salinity electrolysis with hydrolysis technology for dual-mode disinfection. This new-generation controller features a 4.3″ colour touch panel and a redesigned control box, whilst retaining all the strengths of the first-generation AquaRite platform with significant electronic enhancements. The result is gentler water on swimmers, reduced chemical costs, and less corrosion on pool metalwork and equipment.

Electrolysis output & dual disinfection

The HC LS NG cell pairs conventional salt electrolysis with a hydrolysis process that generates highly effective disinfecting free radicals, delivering a deeper bactericidal and virucidal action than a standard single-mode chlorinator. The transparent PVC cell with titanium plates allows visual inspection of the electrode condition at a glance, and automatic salt-concentration calculation alerts the operator before levels drop too low — helping to protect cell life and maintain consistent chlorine output.

Controller & water-quality management

The control unit reads and regulates pH, Redox (ORP), free chlorine, salinity, and temperature, either through integrated sensors or optional probe modules. A gas sensor and mechanical flow switch (paddle switch) are included as standard safety features, while the closed-cover detection system prevents hazardous gas accumulation. The technical menu is access-code protected, making accidental parameter changes by pool users virtually impossible.

Pool automation & connectivity

Beyond disinfection, the AquaRite HC LS NG acts as a full pool-automation hub: it controls the filtration pump, heat pump, pool lighting (up to 50 W), and up to four auxiliary relays from a single device. Optional Wi-Fi or Ethernet modules unlock remote management via the Hayward PoolWatch app (iOS and Android), with voice-control compatibility for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
