Hayward – High Waterline Skimmer Wide ABS 2″ Grey X-Pro 600

The X-Pro 600’s wide-mouth throat positions the waterline just 5.5 cm below the pool deck, delivering a near-infinity mirror effect that standard skimmers cannot match. Designed specifically for liner pools and supplied with gaskets, flange, trim, basket, and skim-vac as a fully assembled unit ready for installation. The 2″ female-thread connection in corrosion-resistant grey ABS ensures a clean, durable fit in professional liner builds.

Vessel construction & liner seal

Moulded from robust ABS, the X-Pro 600 body carries no joints below the waterline, which is critical in liner applications where watertight integrity depends on the flange-and-gasket assembly. The supplied double-gasket flange clamps the liner firmly against the skimmer face, and the grey colour coordinates with contemporary coping and deck finishes without additional painting or trimming.

Basket capacity & maintenance

A generously sized 3-litre prefilter basket reduces cleaning frequency considerably compared with standard-volume skimmers, keeping the pump protected for longer between service visits. The cover is secured by a safety latch that prevents accidental opening, and the fillable, tile-compatible lid can be dressed with the same material as the surrounding deck for complete concealment.

Standards compliance & smart-home compatibility

The X-Pro 600 is certified to EN 13451-3, EN 16713-2, EN 16582-1, and AS 1926.3-2010, satisfying European safety requirements for inground pool equipment. Optional water-level sensors can be integrated to automate pool filling via Hayward’s AquaRite system or third-party BMS controllers, making this skimmer a practical choice for automated or managed pool installations.
