The BL120-163 is a saddle clamp designed to create a sensor or injection take-off point on a Ø63 mm circulation pipe. It belongs to the Hanna Instruments BL10x, BL12x and BL13x dosing and control system accessory range, used in commercial pool water treatment installations. The clamp provides a threaded port so probe holders or injection fittings can be mounted directly on the pipework.

This saddle clamp is dimensioned for pipe with an outside diameter of 63 mm. It is intended for use with Hanna Instruments BL10x, BL12x and BL13x series controllers and dosing pumps and their associated probe holders and injection fittings. Confirm the outside diameter of your circulation pipe before ordering, as the clamp is size-specific and will not seal on other pipe diameters.

Position de montage

The clamp is fitted around the circulation pipe at the point where the probe or injection fitting is to be located, typically on the pressure side after the filter for injection and on a suitable straight run for measurement. The pipe is drilled through the clamp port, the gasket is seated and the two halves are bolted together evenly. The threaded port then accepts the probe holder or injection valve.

Durée de vie

The clamp body is a permanent mechanical fitting and normally lasts the life of the pipework. The sealing gasket is the wear item and should be inspected whenever the probe or injection fitting is removed for service. Replace the gasket or the complete clamp if weeping, deformation or chemical attack is visible around the port.
