Hanna Instruments pump cover for BL12x series (BL120-302)

The BL120-302 is a replacement front pump cover for Hanna Instruments BL12x series dosing and control pumps used in commercial pool water treatment. It shields the pump head and internal components from splashes, chemical vapour and accidental contact. This is a plastic housing part only, supplied without pump internals.

Designed for the Hanna Instruments BL12x family of peristaltic dosing pumps and controllers, including BL120 units. It replaces the original moulded cover that clips over the pump head area. Confirm your pump model number on the rating label before ordering, as cover geometry differs between Hanna pump generations.

Fitting the cover

The cover sits on the front face of the pump body over the pump head assembly. Isolate the pump from power and depressurise the dosing line before removing the old cover. Seat the new cover squarely so the retaining points engage fully, otherwise the chemical splash protection is compromised.

Quand faut-il le remplacer ?

Covers are typically changed when they become cracked, crazed or chemically clouded by acid or hypochlorite vapour, or when retaining tabs break and the cover no longer sits flush. A damaged cover leaves the pump head exposed to UV and chemical attack and should be replaced promptly. There is no fixed service interval; inspect at each routine pump service.
