Davey - Joint torique pour couvercle de filtre à cartouche Crystal Clear - Q2231SP

Davey – Crystal Clear Cartridge Filter Lid O-Ring (Q2231SP)

This genuine Davey replacement O-ring (part number Q2231SP) seals the filter lid on the Davey Crystal Clear cartridge filter range, preventing leaks and maintaining system pressure. It is the correct OEM seal to fit between the filter tank and lid, and should be replaced whenever signs of water leakage, cracking, or deformation are noticed around the filter lid.

Compatibilité

This O-ring fits Davey Crystal Clear cartridge filter models 39050, 39075, 39100 (EU), 39150, 39150 (EU), 39175, and 39225. It is also compatible with Davey Easy Clear, CF500 through CF2250, and Monarch EcoPure cartridge filters. Always verify your filter model number before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

Pourquoi l'authenticité est importante

Manufactured to Davey’s exact tolerances, this O-ring is constructed from rot-resistant, chlorine-resistant, and UV-stabilised rubber — ensuring a durable, pressure-tight seal under pool operating conditions. Using a non-genuine substitute risks premature failure and potential water damage. Always apply 100% silicone lubricant (such as Hydralslip) when fitting any pool filter O-ring to extend its service life and achieve a reliable seal.

Installation

Always switch off the pump and relieve filter pressure before removing the lid. Clean the O-ring groove, apply a thin coat of silicone lubricant to the new O-ring, seat it evenly in the groove, and re-secure the lid locking ring by hand. Do not use sealants, glues, or petroleum-based products on the O-ring. If in doubt, consult a qualified pool technician.
